ROCKFORD, Mich. (AP) - A Sparta man has been ordered tried on accusations of breaking into a neighbor's home and rifling through her car while wearing a purple bra and boxer shorts.

Kent County District Court in Rockford has bound 20-year-old Jacob Andrew Fast over for trial in circuit court.

He's charged with first-degree home invasion and resisting and obstructing a police officer.

A phone message seeking comment has been left at the Grand Rapids office of defense attorney Freeman Haehnel (HAY'-nul).

Police say the neighbor was awakened June 9 by the sounds of someone breaking into her home. When she went to investigate, she looked outside and saw a man wearing a purple bra and boxers leaning into her parked car.
