THOMPSONVILLE, Mich. (AP) - Allison Fouch birdied the last hole of the final round to win the Michigan PGA Women's Open.

The 28-year-old from Grand Rapids began Wednesday one stroke behind at Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville. She shot 70 to finish a shot ahead of second-round leader Laura Kueny of Whitehall.

Fouch made two birdies on the last four holes. She says she tried to stay calm and handle her emotions.

Kueny eagled the 475-yard ninth hole and opened up a two-stroke lead during the back nine. She came to the 18th tee tied with Fouch, but pulled her drive left of the fairway and had to play through trees.
