AMASA, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say crews are battling a 120-acre wildfire in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
The Department of Natural Resources says the fire was started by a lightning strike. It's in a remote area of Iron County near Amasa, and the DNR says Friday that no structures were being threatened.
WLUC-TV reports the fire started earlier this week. The DNR has an air crew, bulldozers and engines battling the fire.
Cooler temperatures helped keep the fire under control, with flames burning near the Fence River.
