BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - A man accused of escaping from the Mecosta County jail has been sentenced to more than 100 years behind bars for his role in a crime spree that included conspiring to kill a Morley couple.

Jonathan Good was sentenced Thursday. He was convicted of conspiracy to murder, attempted murder, armed robbery, home invasion and breaking and entering after a 10-week trial in Mecosta County Circuit Court.

In March 2008, Good and others tied up the couple in their home, bound them with duct tape and threatened to kill them before stealing their van.

Good says he's innocent.

Good in November escaped through a skylight in the jail, but was captured four days later in the Detroit area. He awaits trial in the escape case.
