HOLLAND, Mich. (AP) - Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele is coming to Michigan next week.
The Ottawa County GOP says Steele is scheduled to speak at its Nov. 12 luncheon in Holland.
The conservative was elected to a 2-year term in January and is the first black chairman of the committee.
Steele is an attorney who is a former Maryland lieutenant governor.
Former Michigan GOP chairman Saul Anuzis (ah-NOO'-zihs) is among those who campaigned to become the party's national leader.
