WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - An autopsy by the Oakland County medical examiner's office reveals a man reported as possibly committing suicide was shot three times with a high-powered rifle.
Waterford Township police say Friday in a release that the 24-year-old victim was found the day before on the floor of a home in the community about 25 miles northwest of Detroit.
Police say a man who called 9-1-1 on Thursday said he believed his son may have committed suicide.
There were no signs of forced entry into the home.
The name of the victim was not released. Police did not say Friday if any arrests had been made or if the person who called 9-1-1 was questioned.
