ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Ohio State coach Jim Tressel says a win over Michigan gives his team a chance to relax and exhale before getting ready for the Rose Bowl.
The Wolverines, meanwhile, are home for the holidays for the second straight year and will brace for news from an NCAA investigation.
The rivals used to have a lot in common, meeting in the final game of the regular season with a lot at stake. Not anymore.
The Buckeyes beat the Wolverines 21-10 Saturday for a sixth straight year, keeping their No. 9 ranking in The Associated Press poll Sunday. Ohio State finished 10-2 overall and 7-1 in the Big Ten, winning its fifth straight title, while Michigan was 5-7 overall and its 1-7 conference mark put it in a last-place tie.
