Stolen Gun Returned To Owner 30 Years Later

After 30 years, a local man gets his stolen property back. The Michigan State Police returned a 22-caliber pistol to its rightful owner.

It was stolen from the home of an Eaton County resident back in 1982, who thought it was gone forever.

"Well, really unexpected after 29-years. I never thought I'd see it again. It's amazing," said Ronald Johnson, gun owner.

Lansing Police recovered the weapon in January and held it as evidence on a weapons charge until recently.
