Dentures - WLNS TV 6 Lansing - Jackson | Your Local News Leader

Dentures for most people are means to an end. The patient has to have teeth to function in society. They replace missing teeth and tissue and bone. In many ways Dentures are "Dental Wigs" that are functional to a degree and give the wearer a way to have teeth.

It our belief that a denture should never have to look like a denture. When the dentist can control the size, position, color and all aspects of the teeth and gums, the result should look fantastic. We feel strongly that if a dentist cannot make a good looking denture, they should never attempt a full mouth implant supported teeth and reconstruction.

Dentures are tolerated in the upper jaw usually better than the lower jaw by most patients. Dental implants can support in a variety of ways. There are implant supported dentures that are removable and there are implant supported dentures that are fixed and screwed in. One of these approaches is "Teeth in an Hour." This is a fixed option in which the surgery to place the implants and the teeth are delivered in one hour. These are computer CT scan generated surgery and teeth. This is described on the home menu under "Before and After" and also examples under the next heading of Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry Misc. Most implant supported dentures function close to that of natural teeth in chewing ability.

A solution that fits your needs is very individual and needs consultation.

We are confident that we can find a solution to help.
