Megan Sanctorum joined the 6 News team in August 2010. She started out at the station as a writer and video editor for the morning show, but has since switched roles and now works as a reporter and weekend producer.
Megan is excited to be working in the Mid-Michigan area. She graduated from Michigan State University (go green!) in May 2011 with a degree in Journalism and specialization in Health Promotion.
While in college Megan interned at both the Fox and NBC affiliates in Detroit. She was the president of MSU's Emmy Award winning newscast, Focal Point. Megan received three awards from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters for her work with Focal Point. She also spent time working as a reporting intern and program host at HOM-TV in Okemos.
