MSU Unveils Camo Uniforms For Carrier Classic Game


The Michigan State men's basketball team will be sporting a new look for the Quicken Loans Carrier Classic game in San Diego on November 11.

In honor of the U.S. military they will wear camouflage uniforms. MSU will be playing against North Carolina who will also wear camo uniforms.

"I think the uniforms are pretty cool," said MSU head coach Tom Izzo. "They definitely put the spotlight on our military and that's what this is for. I like that instead of player names, they put 'U.S.A.' on the back. For once, everybody can be on the same team."

The game will be played on the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier in San Diego on Veterans Day. President Obama is expected to attend the game. The Carl Vinson is the ship that carried Osama Bin Laden's body to sea.
