Local McDonald's employee, Israel Moore, got a big surprise Thursday afternoon after she found out she has been named as a finalist for the Voice of McDonald's singing contest.
Israel is one of only 3 Americans that have reached the finals and she's heading to Orlando to compete at the 2012 world-wide convention.
"I didn't think I'd get this far at all, I just, I was sitting at home and I thought just hey, you know, I'll just try it, I'll just send it in and then I get the call I'm a finalist and now I'm going to Florida... and yeah it's just crazy," said Moore.
She has a chance to win a $25,000 grand prize.
