UPDATE: US 127 Reopens After Accident

UPDATE (11:20am): Most of U.S. 127 is open. But the northbound exit ramp at Holt Road remains closed.

6 News reporter Deanna Falzone is on the scene and will have more on 6 News at Noon.

ORIGINAL STORY (11:10am): An accident has shut down traffic on U.S. 127.

The road is closed while the Ingham County Sheriff's Department investigates an accident.

Scanner traffic suggests that a high-speed police chase led up to that accident.

That scanner traffic - while unconfirmed - was rather extensive, as the chase seemed to last at least 5 minutes before the report of the crash.

6 News has a crew on the scene and will have more coming up on 6 News at Noon.
