Lansing Police are looking for 2 men they say are wanted for murder. Police say the 2 men should be considered armed and dangerous.

LPD says Byron Coney and Dequan Taylor are wanted in connection with a deadly shooting at a home on the 700 block of Baker Street on Saturday, January 7.

Investigators say these men are known to be in the Lansing or Albion areas. If you see these men, do not try to approach them, call 911.

Police say Coney and Taylor were with 28-year-old Brandin Sanders of Williamston when they showed up and tried to rob a man who lives at the home on Baker Street.

Investigators say the homeowner knew one of the men and invited them in. That's when police say a fight broke out and gunfire erupted between the homeowner and at least one of the men in the group.

When it was all over Sanders was dead and the homeowner was injured. The homeowner was treated and released at a Lansing hospital. Police will not say at this point if he'll face any charges.

If you have information contact Det. Jorge Gomez at 483-4821 or Det. Andy Hogan at 483-6861 or call 911.
