Officials Look For Owners Of 3 Dangerous Pit Bulls

Posted:

Ingham County Animal Control officials are trying to find the owners of three pit bulls Tuesday night after at least one of the dogs bit a 6-year-old girl.

Police reportedly had to shoot and kill one of the dogs after the incident last weekend in the 1600 block of Lyons Avenue in Lansing. The little girl was not seriously injured.

Now Animal Control officials, and police, want to find the owners of the two dogs that are now housed at their facility in Mason.

"It's very important we locate the owners, any help we can get from the public is greatly appreciated. We're not going to tolerate vicious dogs running around the neighborhood attacking young children, as well as attacking adults," said Dave Wilcox, Ingham County Animal Control.

If you have any information on this incident please call the Ingham County Animal Control at 517-676-8370.
