MI Poll Shows State Voters Would Support Obama

A new poll of likely Michigan voters shows President Barack Obama leading both Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.

The poll of 600 likely voters shows 48 percent would support the president if he ran against Republican Romney. Forty percent said they'd back Romney, a Michigan native.

In an Obama-Gingrich race, 51 percent said they'd back the president and 38 percent would support Gingrich.

Lansing-based Epic-MRA conducted the poll.
