A man wanted in connection for a murder - a man police considered armed and dangerous - has turned himself in.
Dequan Taylor, a 29-year-old Lansing man, surrendered to police on Friday.
Taylor is one of at least two people police wanted to track down in connection with the crime.
Police asked the public to help them find Taylor and Byron Coney back on January 13th.
Police say Coney and Taylor were with 28-year-old Brandin Sanders of Williamston when they showed up and tried to rob a man who lives at the home on Baker Street.
Investigators say the homeowner knew one of the men and invited them in. That's when police say a fight broke out and gunfire erupted between the homeowner and at least one of the men in the group.
When it was all over Sanders was dead and the homeowner was injured. The homeowner was treated and released at a Lansing hospital.
Taylor faces 7 felony charges including homicide, assault with intent to murder, and felony firearms charges. He'll be in court for a preliminary hearing in early February.
