Michigan businesses that invest in technology are now eligible to receive financial help from the state.
A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon by the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF) and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to cover the new Pure Michigan Venture Match Fund.
The fund is set up to match early stage investments from businesses that work with technology.
MSF will match $350,000 to $500,000 for any business that invests $700,000 to $3 million in technology.
The public hearing will take place at the MEDC headquarters on Washington Square.
