A jury found a Jackson County man guilty of murdering his 3-month-old son.
It took about a day for jurors to find Adam Stevens guilty of 2nd degree murder and 2nd degree child abuse for the death of his son Kian in August of 2010.
Stevens - who took the stand in his own defense - told a jury that he accidentally dropped the baby in the middle of the night, causing the injuries that killed the boy.
But jurors chose to believe police and prosecutors, who say Stevens shook and abused the child, and that the abuse is what killed Kian.
