A former Jackson Community College student who was taken off campus and sent for a mental evaluation last year is set to receive about $100,000 in settlements.
According to our media partners at the Cit Pat, Michael Oliver complained of being racially harassed after believing the school wasn't doing enough on his complaint.
He reportedly told school officials, "someone has to pay," police then removed him from campus.
