Changes are in store for kindergarten programs in Waverly Community Schools.
The Board of Education approved a full-day kindergarten program that will begin this fall.
The board says it will allow teachers more time for lessons and give students who fall behind a chance to catch up.
The move comes after the state announced districts will lose funding for half-day kindergarten students.
