A new study out of Michigan State University shows skin color may play a role in whether or not a military criminal is executed.
Researchers found minorities in the military are twice as likely as whites to be sentenced to death.
Two law professors studied more than 100 military cases where death was an option between the years of 1984 and 2005 of the 16 men the military has sentenced to death in the last 27 years 10 were minorities.
