On Monday Meridian Township Police responded to a robbery on Okemos Road near Mt. Hope Road.
The victim, a 24-year-old Haslett resident, was approached by three black males on the bridge crossing the Red Cedar River.
One of the men threatened the victim with a handgun.The suspects stole the victim's property and ran away on foot to the south.
Officers from East Lansing Police and Michigan State University Police assisted in the investigation.
The three supects are described as follows:
A 17-20-year-old black male with a lighter complexion. He's approximately 6'3" to 6'4" tall with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a red and black jacket with a red knit cap. The knit cap had long ear flaps that could be connected as a chin strap. The suspect used the ear flaps to partially conceal his face.
The second suspect was described as a black male with a medium complexion, 17-20 years old, and approximately 6'3" to 6'4" tall with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a green jacket and eyeglasses.
The third suspect was described as a black male with a dark complexion, 17-20 years old and approximately 5'11" to 6'0" tall with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and a black baseball cap.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
