A Lansing man is behind bars today after police say he led them on a short chase in a stolen car on Tuesday. An officer spotted the car on Pleasant Grove Road near Boston Boulevard just before noon. Paramedics took a man to the hospital after the tractor he was riding flipped over and landed on him.
It happened around 7 p.m. along the 2100 block of East Dexter Trail in southern Ingham County.
A firefighters tells 6 News that the man was trying to pull another vehicle that got stuck in a field. That's when the tractor flipped over, pinning the man in.
Rescue crews used airbags to lift the tractor and pull the man out.
An ambulance drove him to Lansing's Sparrow Hospital.
His name and condition are not known.
