Sparrow Teams Up With Mayo Clinic

Sparrow Health System announced a plan today to team up with Mayo Clinic.

The clinic is one of the most respected health care organizations in the country.

With the announcement, Sparrow becomes the first health system in Michigan and just one of five in the country that will take part in the Mayo Clinic Care Network.

The relationship means doctors at Sparrow will have access to the clinic's experts and resources to help patients here in Michigan.

"Access to Mayo Clinic expertise and clinical care resources will mean that our patients will receive some of the most advanced care in the nation, right here at Sparrow," said John Armstrong, M.D., Sparrow's chief of medical staff in a press release.

Other members of the network are in Arizona, Minnesota, Missouri, and North Dakota.
