Drug Disposal Grants

The Ingham County Health Department will get part of a large grant for it's drug disposal program.

The money is coming from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.

The MDEQ is handing out $250,000 to five organizations, that focus on the disposal of un-used household drugs.

The grants are designed to increase public access to the collection programs, and help to develop new ones in different parts of the state.
