Posted:

The new Ingham/Lansing 911 center was set to open, but a temporary restraining order put it on hold.

Last week, the capital area's Fraternal Order of Police filed the complaint against the county to not open the center after workers didn't feel adequately trained on the new equipment. They said it could have put public safety at risk.

We'll continue to provide you with updates as they become available throughout the day.
