Two Flint Women In Custody For East Lansing Armed Robbery

Posted:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Two 23-year-old women from Flint were arrested on Sunday after they were accused of armed robbery at an East Lansing gas station.

Police say the incident happened shortly after 4:30 this morning at the Admiral Gas Station on Grand River and Woodmere.

According to officials, one of the women was armed with a knife, and the other suspect reportedly sprayed the clerk with mace during the robbery.

The two women were able to escape the scene before police arrived, but they caught one of the suspects near Grand River and Hagadorn, and they caught the other one at a local hotel.

Police say they are seeking armed robbery charges in the case, and will likely seek several other felony charges as well.
