Police Search for Church Robbers

Posted:

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying suspect(s) in the burglary of the Our Savior Lutheran Church.

It happened at 13667 Highland Road in Hartland Township between Saturday around 7:00p.m. and Sunday around 6:20a.m.

Suspect(s) entered the church by breaching a double pane window located on the south side of the building.  Once the suspect(s) were in the building, they located a lock box that contained cash and checks from the weekend offerings.

The lock box did not show any signs of forced entry.  It is believed that the suspect(s) are smokers due to cigarette ashes being discarded within the church.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is urged to contact Detective Curt Novara at 517-540-7952 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
