Here in Lansing the Red Cross is reaching out to help victims in Colorado Springs.
Red Cross Manager in Mass Care, Pam McHenry, has been in Colorado for three days helping hundreds who have been displaced by the fire.
The disaster has been named the worst in the state's history.
"Communities right now are opening up where we can be there in their time of need, and we have people there with hot meals for them. We're just taking up care of everybody out here the best we can," said McHenry.
