Man Loses Foot in Motorcycle Accident

Lansing Township Police are investigating a motorcycle-vehicle accident that happened Tuesday morning.

It happened in the 3000 block of W. Main St. The cyclist was going eastbound on W. Main when he hit the other vehicle, who was turning south into a private drive.

The 23-year-old man was taken to a local hospital for an amputation of his foot. Officials say he was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
