4 Teens Crash a Stolen SUV

UPDATE: Police say the SUV that four 14 and 15 year old teens were driving was stolen and that alcohol was involved in the "mini crime spree." Three teens are currently at a youth home, one was released to his parents.

It happened on Eaton Road south of Mount Hope early Sunday morning.

Lansing police say they were called to respond to gun-shots fired, and discovered that four teenagers were driving around in a stolen SUV, shooting a pellet gun out the window.

Police say the kids shot at a newspaper delivery man, but missed.

As they tried to get away, officials say they lost control and crashed, flipping the SUV.

Police say 2 of the kids were hurt, but not badly. The two others ran away, but were later caught.

Police say the teens were also involved in other crimes throughout the night.
