Armed Robbers Hit Lansing Business

Lansing police are on the hunt for two men who they say robbed a business at gunpoint.

They say one of the men, wielding a shotgun, approached an employee of The Swap Meet - a buy and sell store along the 4400 block of S. Martin Luther King - just before 9 a.m.

The forced the employee inside the store and took off with a bunch of cash.

A witness pointed police to the nearby Marvin Gardens apartment complex.

Police surrounded the complex while they looked for the suspects, but were not able to find anyone.

Officers say the robbery looks like it was planned ahead of time, since they were waiting for the employee to arrive at work.

6 News reporter Chivon Kloepfer was on the scene and will have more coming up on 6 News at Noon.
