Women's Gymnastics Team, Including Wieber, Wins Gold

Jordyn Wieber will bring home at least one gold medal.

Wieber - the reigning world champion - won't bring home the individual all-around medal she so prized, but the 17-year-old DeWitt girl helped Team USA to the top of the platform.

The women's gymnastics team destroyed the competition en route to a gold medal.

Team USA scored 183.596 to win first place.

Russia got a 178.530 - some five points less - to take the silver.

Romania got 176.414 to get the bronze.

The Americans won three of the four events - including the floor, beam, and vault. They finished third on the uneven bars.

It's only the second time the women's team has won gold. The only other time was in 1996.
