Man Due in Court After Crashing Car into House

UPDATE: A Lansing  man is expected to face a judge today after police say he drove his car into a house.

It happened around 10:45 last night on the 600 block of South Hayford Avenue.

Police say the man was drunk when he lost control of his car, drove through the homeowner's yard and crashed into their porch.

He was treated and released for minor injuries.

A Lansing man is in the hospital after driving his car into a house Tuesday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. along the 600 block of Hayford in Lansing. It's on the near-east side of the city.

According to Police the man, who was drunk, crashed his car into a homeowner's porch after losing control.

Officials plan to file charges once the man is released from the hospital.
