Police are searching for the man who robbed a Meridian Township bank on Wednesday morning.
It happened at the Citizens Bank at 1602 Haslett Road in Haslett at around 9:30 a.m.
Police describe the suspect as a white man in his 40's. He stands about 5'8" tall and has a thin build. He was wearing tan shorts, dark colored shirt, large sunglasses and a stocking cap.
The suspect left behind a shopping bag, which was investigated by the Michigan State Police Bomb Squad. The package was not explosive or hazardous.
That investigation also forced police to close off Edson Street, which lasted for two hours.
