Police need your help in a request for assistance, attempt to identify and the search for a wanted felon.
Request for Assistance
The Shiawassee County Sheriff is requesting assistance in an armed robbery case. A local businessman was confronted when he attempted to get into his car at his residence at approximately 7:30 am Monday. The subject displayed a pistol and demanded money. The victim relinquished some cash he had in his pocket and urged the subject to leave. A struggle ensued between the subject and victim during which the victim was struck several times. The subject then fled from the residence to the west in the area of M-21 and Baldwin Rd. A K-9 track and search by helicopter was initiated with negative results.

Attempt to Identify
Officers responded to a burglary complaint in the 2900 Block of Alpha, in Lansing on Monday.
Video footage shows that at approximately 4:00a.m., a black male, bald, 40-50-years-old, in a blue short sleeved shirt broke in the office. He proceeded to go through the drawer and enters several rooms within the office. The suspect took a cell phone and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Wanted Felon
Police are looking for Arron Rodriguez, a 21-year-old black male. He stands 6'2" tall, weighs 225 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Rodriguez has a felony warrant for armed robbery out of Lansing.
