Mendon 27-Fowler 7

Prior to tonight's game, fans and players took time to remember Steven Schrauben who passed away on July 4th at Houghton Lake. Students and staff released balloons and obeserved a moment of silence in his honor.

First quarter: Mendon opens the scoring as Nick Eberstein calls his own number for the 8 yard scamber: Hornets up 6 to 0.

Time running down at end of the first half, Eberstein goes to the air and off the tipped ball Rodney Arnott comes down with it for the 26 yard TD, making it 20 to nothing at the half.

And tonight was the night that the lights went out in Fowler near the end of the third quater as the Hornets win the rematch of last year's state championship 27 to 7.
