New Okemos coach Jack Wallace after a gut-wrenching loss in week one had his Chieftains hosting Charlie Otlewski's Haslett Vikings. Charlie O equally frustrated after a loss last Friday.  


Third quarter, Haslett hand-off to Sam Wegenke for a 1 yard touchdown.  21-14 Haslett leads.  

Fourth quarter, Okemos' Jacob Devine with a pass to Chris Nelson, squeaks in the endzone for a touchdown. 21-20 after the missed 2-point conversion. @

Haslett handoff to Connor Brewer to seal the deal and win the Meridian Bowl back from Okemos.

The Vikings outlast the Chieftains 28-20.  Tough-luck, Okemos is 0-and-2.  Haslett is now 1-and-1.
