Just days after an MSU student claimed he was assaulted because he was Jewish, police are investigating a second incident involving another MSU student.
His parents say it happened this week outside a home on Beal Street.
They sent us the attached photo, saying someone stabbed him in the head and arm, beat him badly and left him with a broken nose in two places and broken ribs.
They say they're angry about what happened that night and want justice. Their attorney advised them not to talk on camera, but they tell 6 News they made a police report.
East Lansing Police referred us to the Ingham County Prosecutors Office. The prosecutor isn't releasing any information either. Other concerned parents of MSU students who are concerned about these reports of violence are now reaching out.
Carmack's parents say their son knows who did this to him.
We will of course continue to follow this story closely and bring you any new information as we get it.
