The man who killed his wife and then tried to take his own life on Monday has died.
The Sheriff's office cofirms James Curry died Friday after he allegedly shot himself twice under the chin sometime over the weekend.
It happened on the 4000 block of N. Main in Stockbridge.
Investigators say that his wife's Department of Human Services co-workers got concerned when Peggy Curry didn't show up for work. They asked the cops to check on her house. The Stockbridge police chief and an Ingham County sheriff's deputy found a broken window upon arrival and discovered Peggy's body inside the home.
