An armed robbery in Lansing ends with two people in the hospital and one behind bars.
It happened in the parking lot of a store, on the 900 block of West Saginaw Street around 6:30 Sunday evening.
Police say the 20-year-old suspect approached 2 men who had just come out of the store, pointed a gun at them and demanded cash.
Lansing police tell us both victims were hurt when one tried to take the gun away, and the other was hit over the head with the gun.
When the suspect couldn't get any cash, the he took off running.
When officials tried to pull over an SUV they believed was involved in the crime, all three people inside took off running; One ended up being the suspected gunman.
Police found him a short time later and arrested him.
The other two people in the SUV haven't been found, but police say they weren't directly involved.
The two victims were taken to the hospital.
