Meijer's "Simply Give Week" will run until Saturday in an effort to end hunger.
The grocery giant will give $20 for every $10 donation made to local food pantries, up to $1 million.
The program aims to stock the shelves of nearly 200 food pantries in a five-state region.
Meijer officials say it's easy for you to take part.
"People want to help out in their communities and with the Simply Give Program it just makes it really easy for them. They can pick up a card as they walk through the checkout lane and it's a done deal," said Okemos Meijer Store Director Chris Wilson.
Meijer's 2-for-1 donation offer runs until Saturday, but you can donate money to the "Simply Give Campagin" until October 6th.
We're told the one million dollar donation -- will pay for about 6 million meals.
