Ionia 7-DeWitt 10

Ionia 7-DeWitt 10

The DeWitt Panthers all charged up and ready to go after a bad loss last week to Lansing Everett.

More lightening and rain, and a delay of more than one hour after they got about 7 minutes into this game.

On the sidelines, Jacob Johnson, DeWitt's starting quarterback in a cast after breaking has hand last week.

DeWitt had a touchdown called back due to a penalty and had to try a 42 yard field goal...Cameron West up and good.  Three-nothing DeWitt in the 2nd quarter.

The Panthers used two QB's tonight with Johnson out.  Jacob Heath airs it out, follow the ball please, right into the hands of senior Ryan Anderson.  First TD of the game.  Heath 7 for 15 in the air.

DeWitt goes on to win 10-7 without its starting QB.

The Panthers now 2-and-1.
