Obama to Speak at the Democratic Convention

Posted:

One day after President Bill Clinton gave a rousing speech endorsing a second term for President Barack Obama, the Commander in Chief is expected to hit the podium at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The president is expected to lay out his plan for the next four years and accept the democratic nomination. Some experts expect him to talk specifics.

The events were originally scheduled to be outdoors, but organizers say the threat of severe weather moved things back inside.

Coverage of the convention begins at 10p.m. right here on TV 6.
