Posted:

Lansing Police are investigating a break-in on the city's south side.

Officers were called out to the 4900 block of Stafford Avenue around 5:30a.m. Friday after children at the home said they saw a tall, black man inside.

Officials say when he was confronted, the man took off on a bike.

Two adults and four children, ages 5 to 15, were home at the time.

No one was hurt and nothing was taken.
