The Mason Fire Department is holding a spaghetti dinner to help raise money for firefighters in Kosovo.
The association donated a truck to firefighters there earlier this summer. Now, they want to help train the firefighters there on the truck operations.
Officials say this all started when a Kosovo official made a visit to a relative in Mason.
"We just got to talking and discussing how little they have and how much we have and what we take for granted so that got our brains going and we decided that would be a good place to try and send this truck," said Fire Chief Kerry Minshall.
The dinner runs until 9:00p.m. at the A&W Restaurant in Mason. It costs $5 per person for either dine in or take out.
