Jackson Police Search for Bank Robber

The Citizen's Bank on E. Michigan Avenue was robbed Friday around 10:30a.m. in Jackson.

Police are reaching out to the public to help identify the suspect. He is believed to be around 5'7" with a thin build, last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt with "Michigan State" printed in white letters, sunglasses over a mask that appeared to be a of a woman's face with dark hair, and gloves.

The suspect entered the bank, approached the counter and demanded money from an employee. A weapon was indicated, though never seen during the robbery. He attained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area by foot. An MSP K-9 unit responded and led away from the bank toward the west, but the track was lost a few blocks away.
