LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – A 24-year-old woman was seriously injured in a single-car rollover accident that happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Saturday in Ionia County.
According to sheriff's officials, the accident happened on W. Portland Road near Nash Highway in Boston Township.
Officials say the vehicle was going westbound on W. Portland when it veered onto the shoulder of the road. The driver apparently lost control, causing the vehicle to rollover several times, eventually coming to a rest in a cornfield.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital.
