A group that ranks military-friendly schools put Michigan State University in its top 15 percent this year.
The "2013 Military Friendly Schools" list says MSU earned the honor by providing a supportive environment for former soldiers, offering financial for veterans, particularly those with disabilities and providing a course to help former members of the military adjust to civilian life.
The university also ranked among the Fittest in the Nation, as well as having some of the Best Academic Programs in the Nation.
